Maximize Your Experience
We'd like to offer some additional tips that might help our vendors maximize their experience at our expo:
Even if you don't make immediate sales, the connections you form can lead to long-term business growth.
Your Expo Team
- 20-minute sample sessions: Consider offering shorter, 20-minute readings priced at $20 to $25 each. This approach allows you to serve more clients during the event.
- Sign -Up Sheet: Implement a sign-up sheet at your booth where visitors can reserve their preferred time slot. This can help manage your time efficiently and potentially reduce wait times.
- Promote: Use this opportunity to network and promote your services. Offer visitors the option to schedule more in-depth readings with you at a later date. This can help you build a client base beyond the expo.
- Advertise: Remember that many vendors participate in our expo primarily for advertising purposes. The connections you make and the exposure you receive can lead to long-term business opportunities.
- Prepare an eye-catching display: Create a visually appealing booth that reflects your brand and services. Use colors, textures, and props that attract attention and make your space inviting.
- Offer a show special: Consider providing a discounted rate or a special package for bookings made during the expo. This can incentivize visitors to commit to future sessions.
- Bring business cards and flyers: Have plenty of promotional materials on hand. Include your contact information, services offered, and perhaps a special offer for first-time clients.
- Consider a raffle or giveaway: Collect contact information from interested visitors by offering a free reading or related item as a prize. This helps build your mailing list for future marketing.
- Engage passersby: Develop a brief, friendly pitch to quickly explain your services to those walking by. Practice makes perfect!
- Showcase testimonials: If you have positive feedback from previous clients, display these prominently. They can help build trust with potential new clients.
- Offer mini-demonstrations: If possible, provide very brief (2-3 minute) demonstrations to attract interest and showcase your skills.
- Network with other vendors: Building relationships with fellow vendors can lead to future collaborations or referrals.
- Use social media: Post about your participation in the expo on your social media channels before, during, and after the event. This can help drive traffic to your booth and maintain connections afterward.
- Follow up promptly: After the expo, reach out to the contacts you've made within a week while the interaction is still fresh in their minds.
Even if you don't make immediate sales, the connections you form can lead to long-term business growth.
